Where to Find the VIN on a Jaguar XE (X760, 2015–2024)

Your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is essential when ordering parts — it ensures you get the exact right component for your car's specification, build date, and engine type. Here's where to find it on the XE.

Quick option: Your VIN is printed on your V5C logbook. You can also give us your UK registration number and we'll look it up for you — we have the same lookup systems as a JLR main agent.

VIN Plate	Visible through the bottom left of the windscreen from outside the car
VIN Label	Base of the driver's side B-pillar
VIN Stamped	Right-hand suspension tower

Engine Number

Left-hand side, rear of the engine casing. There is also a label on top of the engine — you'll need to remove the engine cover to see it.

Gearbox Number

Label on the gearbox casing.
