Fitting Instructions

1. Preparation: Remove the top two nuts holding the differential nose to the axle case. Use the top plate as a guide to identify the correct nuts. Ensure the top plate is level.
2. Top Plate Installation: Place the top plate over the studs and replace the nuts. Tighten securely.
3. Steering Damper Removal: If applicable, remove the steering damper from the differential end and keep all nuts for reassembly later.
4. Bracket Removal: Remove the steering bar retainer or damper bracket (if fitted). Discard these components. If not fitted, ensure bolt holes are clean.
5. Guard Positioning: Offer up the differential guard into position. Use the provided M8 bolts with washers to thread into the top plate by hand.
6. Bolting Guard: Use the black bolts with washers to thread into the diff nose. Adjust as necessary and tighten the rear bolts first, followed by the top bolts.
7. Reattach Damper: Refit the steering damper if applicable.
