Where to Find the VIN on a Jaguar I-Pace (X590, 2018–present)
Your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is essential when ordering parts — it ensures you get the exact right component for your car's specification, build date, and motor type. Here's where to find it on the I-Pace.
Quick option: Your VIN is printed on your V5C logbook. You can also give us your UK registration number and we'll look it up for you — we have the same lookup systems as a JLR main agent.
VIN Locations
| Location | Where to Look |
|---|---|
| VIN Plate | Visible through the bottom left of the windscreen from outside the car |
| VIN Label | Underside of the bonnet, next to the bonnet release lever |
| VIN Stamped | Right-hand suspension tower |
Note: The I-Pace's VIN label location differs from other Jaguars — it's under the bonnet rather than on the B-pillar.
Motor Numbers
The I-Pace has no conventional engine or gearbox. The electric motor identification numbers are located on the front surface of each motor:
| Motor | Where to Look |
|---|---|
| Front motor | Front surface of the motor unit |
| Rear motor | Front surface of the motor unit |
